* I never liked the graphical style of the game. * Building from scratch in a barren world becomes repetitive. Let me start with a fully grown empire with all or many of the tecs researched! * Tech tree. You select the same things in each game. It should have more branches. * The factions are boring. Undead was good though! * City building is uninteresting. * I prefer hexagons...

What AoW3 does better is painting a beautiful world with interesting inhabitants. All elemental games have failed at this. Everything in the presentation of the game, writing, music, graphics etc, is much better in AoW3. But there is something wrong with the balance at the moment, I always have unlimited amounts of mana not even half way through... I'm pretty sure Triumph will get this sorted, they usually do. There's a beta patch out now that slows down research and T4 constr
My question is, would anyone be interested in us revisiting War of Magic in the future to release a kind of "War of Magic: Director's Cut" or something where we refined the WOM game design, updated the visuals.
I find it completely uninteresting. I say focus effort and time on something new, or perhaps on making LH even better.

Not sure really what I want. :) I was just playing a game last night and thought it would be cool if I had all the techs from the start... Then maybe you could use research for something else, like researching summoning spells or special units. If you change something to the web layout of the tech tree, does it also change the appearance in game? Or is that a fixed image?

Sorry if this has been asked already, if so please point me in the right direction. So the question: Is it possible to mod the tech tree? For example, if I want to start each game with everything already researched, is that possible? And can I add and remove things from the tree?
For Legendary heroes I would like: ... 2. Fantasy Races. I hate the 8 different human races. Add elves, dwarves, dragonmen, centaurs, flamekin, icemen, shadowmen, angels, devils, trolls, etc. ... For the next game in the series: 1. Do not keep the elemental world. The races are too boring. The world is boring. The entire story is the world is grey and dead - what a bland premise wi

I'm an AoW fan and in my opinion FE is not better than the AoW games. Legendary Heroes looks promising though with the changes in combat and hero leveling. In my opinion, the FE games have the potential of becoming as good as the AoW series, but they are not there yet. But what the hell, buy them both and support a good cause!
I don't think there'll be a Fallen Enchantress 2 per se. After all, it's actually called Elemental: Fallen Enchantress. Rather, the scenario I'm most comfortable with is starting with Fallen Enchantress and creating a new game. People have said nice things about Warlock without realizing that it's an evolution of Fantasy Wars / Elven Legacy. Fallen Enchantress and what we do next would ex

I'm pretty sure you will keep polishing FE, so not sure why I'm posting this. After playing a lot of beta games, I only played a few games after release. FE is no longer interesting for me I'm afraid. If you want to make a new game, taking things in another direction, here are some things I would like you to reconsider: * "Graphics is not important". If you look at the pictures above, the mockups are the ones that look best. You really want to be that little figure

I used to mess around a lot with the old particle editor. Some new options here, but still basically the same. Not intuitive at all but quite easy to work with once you get the hang of it. And very powerful. An explanation of emitters: An emitter shows a certain piece of graphics (a particle), for example a snowflake. You can set how many snowflakes to spawn, where to spawn them, in what direction, for how long etc. To make an emitter visible, you need the following: <b
