It does not conflict. However, skinned features from Windows 7 are not available in Vista or XP skins, such as the taskbar preview window or the Show Desktop button.

Bumping thread, this deserves some attention doesn't it? ^^
That depends on the amount of RAM you have. The less you have, the more limits are put in place per program. I have 4 GB of RAM, and I barely reach 50% now, besides when running FL Studio. If your CPU runs 36% by default, and has an increase of 13% when using DS, that suggests you aren't using a pretty new computer. That's why we need statistics, to know for sure. The lifespan of your computer will not likely decrease that much, however, the older the computer, the more it will. But I wouldn
Not really a code-related thing, but still a missing feature I posted in another thread: Change the opacity/transparency of textures. You can now apply a texture, WB7 uses a default opacity or blending mode for that, and THEN you can adjust the total transparency. But instead of remaking the texture all over again in Photoshop or anything alike, changing the transparency there, that option should be available in WB7 itself. Edit: As quoted above,
No, not like that. The way textures are handled are as followed: Given a set transparency, the texture is applied to the skin. THEN, you can alter the 'new' skin's transparency. What I would like to see is that you can set the transparency of the texture itself, rather than only set the transparency of the resulting skin. Two different things. There are people like me who want to have certain skins have a certain amount of texture pu
It's just the animation I like to experiment with. And recently I managed to get a proper trial to work, so currently I'm using WindowBlinds again until I get the purchased version.
Oh, thanks :D And, with using slider controls, with color or transparency, maybe it's useful to have percentages, to see exactly how transparent you set something, or what 'exact' color you selected?
All in the title. Set the transparency of textures, so you aren't bound to recreating textures with Photoshop for example, each time you want a texture with a different transparency? WindowBlinds 7 should be able to handle it, shouldn't it? Or is double-transparency layering too much (since it then uses the default transparency functions + the new one)?
Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 4 Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 4 WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 7.0 (build 230 - Windows 7 Edition) - Shareware - 64 bit OS WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC (Generic PnP Monitor) 1 is attached to ATI Radeon HD 3450 Wblind.dll 2009/11/13 09:03:ll Wblind64.dll <
It was the error that occured the first time, probably due to the trial from that mirror being corrupted. It works now, however there are occasions that I end up with Classic style - I double clicked on the default Aero style. Here are another few cents: Scrolling the list using the scroll button, makes the styles 'bump against the wall'.
I'm sure that every remaining file is removed, including new entries in the registry, since I made a system restore point prior to the installation. Reinstalling the application might work, though Ill probably wait till I get my full copy of WindowBlinds. It does run properly on 64 bit, right? I can't remember where I downloaded it from, it was from one of these websites (download.com and similar) which posts scene releases. Ill give a shot at the link at the St
It looks like it's the Shadow that doesn't draw properly, but that's all I can make of it. Have you done anything regarding Shadows, that could have triggered this? Since it's with all skins as you say, it is either WindowBlinds 7 related or PC related. Edit: I see the Shadows of the skin are drawn properly. Still, it looks like the weird white areas take the space the Shadows take as well. Edit 2: Is that DeskScapes you're using? Judging from the
The blue circle that has some light spinning around, when you apply a skin? I can not extract it myself, as WindowBlinds 7 caused a BSOD on my pc and thus I have not installed it anymore.
Im afraid I do not have error logs of any kind. When running system restore to remove the installed trial, files got removed and Windows 7 had to use Startup Repair to fix some stuff for some reason I am unaware of. WindowBlinds 7 first gave an error that said I needed to repair it, and so I did. After, I could not use any of the skins. Double clicking resulted in either a different color of default Aero, or a classic style to popup. Then, a
If purchased seperatly, then it is most likely standalone.
I have to agree with CobraA1, it would be nice to see some more powerfull features of WB7. Certain skins use custom layout codes, entirely skinned UI, all the likes.
