Rusty Rooster V5 (which uses PPA by default) uses a transparent Taskbar. (Only the TaskTray, TaskTools, Start button, and icons in the QuickLaunch area are not transparent.) That is the same behavior shown by Vista itself, so this is apparently default Taskbar behavior. In addition, the Notification Area of the TaskTray (where the clock and iconic views of running tasks are displayed) cannot be made transparent (either by WB 5 or in Vista).
