demigod error/exception in Demigod Technical Support Stardock Forums

Can anyone help we can't run Demigod at all we get the follwoing exception after the game is installed: the exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occured in the application at location 0x00c8c06f what can we do? many thanks
