I am using the latest [B]free[/B] version. In fact, I downloaded it again this morning just to make sure. As you say, if it has already been fixed in the paid version, eventually it will work it's way down to the free version. Thanks, Dave
I am using the free version of CursorFX on a generic PC running Vista Ultimate. FireFox is version 2.0.0.12. When I view search pictures using the PicLens add-in , I lose the cursor. The mouse still works, just can't see it. It works fine with CursorFX turned off.

Far be it for me to speak to you about your own company, but given your close relationship with Microsoft, I'd skip the Boot Screen section if I were you. Why get involved in an (obvious) copyright issue if it can easily be avoided? Besides, as you mentioned, lots of other sites already have Boot Screen sections AND wincustomize.com already has the LoginStudio section. BTW, my vote was for Trillian. Dave
How about adding to the user preferences the option to just display the skins that have been updated on the day of and since the user's last visit to WinCustomize? This way, if I was last on WinCustomize on 8/22/02, when I go to the WindowBlinds section, I'll only see files that have been updated on 8/22, 8/23, and today. It should help with bandwidth since it will only display a few skins in each section and won't require the user to manually specify how many skins to display
Eventually, if this passes, another organization or person will sue to obtain the same rights as the RIAA. I use an e-mail program called Poco Mail http://www.pocomail.com One of the many nice things about this program is that it has a great spam filter. It allows you to assign point values to words and phrases. If a message goes over a certain threshold (user defined) then the message automatically goes into the Junk Mail folder (which you can always look at). It also has the usual subject filters, domain filters, and address filters. You can also exclude subjects, domains, or addresses
Funny how these things go... In testing the link to WeatherBug in my previous post, I went up to their website and found out that a new version was available (I was using 3.5, 4.0 is the latest). So I downloaded it and ran it. Didn't really see anything new, except that the memory usage in the taskbar is now 5 Mb (5572K if you want to be exact). BTW, what's the link to TrayWeather? Dave
Weatherbug (http://www.weatherbug.com) is much nicer! Only 10K, it goes into your taskbar. Although the taskbar only displays the current temperature, double-clicking on the temperature opens up the main program which gives you everything you could ever need (current local temp, wind speed & direction, humidity, barometer, forecast, alerts, radar, live local pics, travel forecasts, and more).
