I super agree with #4 above. Please let me end the turn when I want. The reminders are great, and they should remain, but let me end the turn when I am ready. Like Fallen Enchantress does. Make the end turn button a different color if there are still actions that can be performed. What did they say about this issue in the dev stream, please? I have not watched it.

I have to agree that this was pretty poor communication by Stardock. They should have changed the Steam page, and made an announcement in the forums and on these forums that the Founders Edition was coming down on a specific day. Oh well, I guess you snooze, you lose. Very unfortunate that it has to be this way, though. Life's a bitch and all . . .
I searched for all threads with "tactical combat" in the title, and read all your postings. There were only a few. I did not see anything about another game mentioned. Hmm . . . the mystery deepens.
Well, if BlueRed is here, the game HAS to be a success! Phew, that was close!
I just bought it as well. Everything went perfectly smooth. Installed, logged in, played around for a few minutes. Then came here to see my shiny new badge. Oooh . . . shiny!
Just became a Founder! Checking my badge . . . [edit] and . . . Hoopla! I'm a Founder!
I hope the developers know about this.
Thanks all!
All these ships are awesome! Can ships only be painted blue and grey? Are they going to add the ability to paint your ships whatever colors you want?
In my opinion, hexes are always better than squares for any wargame. The greater amount of options available for movement, combat, and placement of stuff in general can't be beat. Now, octagons would be interesting.
I have almost convinced myself to jump in and buy the Founder's Elite deal. Could some kind souls please tell me what you can do in the game right now? I browsed this forum, and read quite a bit, but did not find anything that lists out the things you can do in this version (Alpha 3?) of the game. I realize it is still very early, and lots of things are missing and not implemented yet. However, what is there to do? Is there any fun to be had? E
