Us humans are not likely to have a long haired soldier in charge. i agree its been played out in our military for centuries with a huge number of soldiers. This isn't scscifi it's reality.

The problem is that short and concise doesn't really work together. Using paragraphs instead of walls of text works!
Haha!!! I think.
I could handle influence with morale, but can some one tell me how this would affect galactic council, or how does star base modules make my people more happy. It makes perfect sense that over 20 billion people on the planet earth would be unhappy. I'm not saying they would make a system better. I actually never had a morale problem unless I raised my taxes to high, but this would have to be higher than 70%. I really would like to see my population affect research, and pro
Well they say all mass is energy, and a lot of it. I would like to be able to do something with the class 0 planets to. Maybe you got some ideas.
I think I have gotten my way on some things. I have gotten some no's on others. I've gotten rebuked by one Dev because of my ideas. I've read responses to some of my ideas on the responses they have given. I've seen multiple posts get something to shut them up. I recognize some names because I see them on these posts to often. Some of my posts get no one. I believe I had a little influence on the game. I can see a few posts slip by, but I see a lot of answers to questions put
The longest game I heard anyone playing is 6 months. I think that is pretty much time to do this. I actually made cargo hull survey ships that can go the whole map. Were talking about distant worlds is one thing I like is that they are able to reuse the same faction more than once, so I can have more factions. I like the ability to pick to many factions. They have already said that Galactic civilizations is going to be mod able. Three things I would like to see added to the modding capability
The OS is one you may not have heard of. As of my retirement it was called MVS, although it had had many name changes before then, and in its earlier incarnations predated Unix. We also had VM as an operating system, which had some special purposes.
It's kind of weird like they talk about only Unix like it was the first operating system. There's probably just to many to talk about all of them.
This is something Stardock is considering at least Tyrannasaur has is for class 0 planets to do something. Gas giants give off radiation. Gas giants also have metallic hydrogen. Gas giants has water. I agree that I want to do something with class 0 planets. Not to mention they got the mass for wormholes.
I like your idea of a bigger map.
I agree other than combat it is a great game.
Well I noticed a lot of people missing. I remember a post where a lot of people are waiting for the game because of Elemental. I have one thing to say about that this game has been around since `1992 how old is that game. I remembering seeing a post about they had to create a new department to make Elemental, I heard about restructuring of the company. Plus I played Galactic civilizations 2 the ultimate edition. It would take a lot to screw this up. As long as they get the Ai right this time
I think this is the greatest space game ever, but not because of combat. The combat sounds like it will be similar to endless space. Endless space is another game I wouldn't recommend unless empire building, and researching is the main reason you play these games.
Up until now this was a windows only game.
Unix right Jack. Not to mention that he did this in assembly language one of two native languages the computer speaks. He didn't even have a high level language to work with for this in the beginning. Linix is the free version of this. You must of been happy when C came out.
Well if we are to wait to reserve judgement then I hope you put a double build Que back in. There is no way one build Que could be an improvement not even with smart Ques. Hopefully what you will add to this will be worth it. This would be an example of a bad way to cut down on micromanagement. This is not a deal breaker on the game if there were enough of other improvements. Not to mention that Galactic civilizations 2 the ultimate edition was a good game anyways. I guess this is there ways
Glad to hear the approval system is not gone. I guess they do that because of the Ai. Because I never heard even one complaint about approval. The planet per planet, and the empire wide approval was fine. This at least gave me a reason to build influence improvements. If anything bring back revolutions.
I wish there would be hotseat. This would really make a difference on game play. Last I heard is there not planning to implement it. So sad!!! This wouldn't be a deal breaker for me though.
Well as far as the United states goes the genocide of a lot of native Americans, and some could consider some of our cold war international policies not being good. Lets not forget about Lenin and the great famine of U.S.S.R. An artificial famine caused on people who aren't part of the communists party. When the United states tried to feed these people Lenin tried to regulate that to only communists. Stalin was at least trying to industrialize. I agree that there are a number of bad peopl
Feedback- World Classes- Agree with colored numbers for planet quality, Class 0- black "Barren/uninhabitable", Class 1-5 Red "Hostile-Poor", Class 6-10 Orange "Below Average-Fair", Class 11-16 Yellow "Above Average-Good, Class 17+ Green "Excellent-Super".
This color system would probably work if it wasn't for the fact that they do it different than other games I've seen. Ave
Here's my definition of a cheating Ai one that starts out with, or is hampered by a economic bonus, or minus. Other than the Thalan, or the Torian I can out expand them with a better economic, production, and better scientific system. I have never seen a resource grab, or mega event that can offset this. When I'm talking about the Torians I'm as good as them in the mid game, but better in the late game. I like the Thalans because I can't beat them.
The only thing I have on reducing numbers is does this affect the colony rush. One screen with the actual numbers while having symbolic number on the rest is fine. With current economics credits will look wrong. Is there only one build Que now. I won't like that. Are we researching more than one tech at once. That sounds good. I like fancy names for techs. The other stuff looks great.
I dont know I guess the fact the ship/planet screen is one easy click while the colony requires two clicks is minor. A number of times I need to check my whole empire, and go to the build screen while going back to the planet screen for every planet I have. If I'm checking every planet I have, and usually have to change ever y ship I'm building. I couldn't figure out how to quickly do this from the colony screen. Not to mention to ,ake sure I can out build I sort by population, so
Lets not forget the reason that they sent Rummel to the middle east in the first place because Hitler was killing all his generals. Hitler felt that Germany was going to win world war 2 by rockets not planes. Where was germanys fleet. Why didn't germany go into world war 2 mobilized for war. They were kind of like when we go to war our economy is still producing other stuff not like world war 2. Interceptors would have prevented the bombing of Berlin, but instead V-2's were more impor
It's been announced the ship roles will be picked before the battle. To my opinion this is very similar to endless space. I think this is the best empire building game ever. Any game I saw like this they had to dump customize ability to improve on anything that were not really improvements, but as far as combat this is not the game. Combat will be similar to endless space in the next game otherwise this is not a combat game. If you don't like turn based empire building then you
