I use STEAM as my game portal. My game has not updated to 3.6 nor has it incorporated the new Retribution DLC. Ideas?

I'm about 36 hours into Galatic Civ 3, and so far am hopeful. The graphics and game options are definately a plus. But gameplay at this point is not an enjoyable experience. Perhaps that will get better as more elements of the game evolve. Top Likes: ship design, graphical view of the galaxy, AI management of civ infrastructure. Top Dislikes: Slow screen activity during play, slow civ development, tedious turms. I'm looking f
