Ya I would eat worms in the game if they gave me health. Do you know why? Because it's a game. Games are meant to be an escape from reality. To do things you can or will not be able to do in real life. And honestly did you just compare eating bacon to eating worms? Some strange people on this planet.
Riggamortis
I've found the assassin line to be the most OP in the game, especially with a bow. Those crits are ridiculous. Not to mention the dodging.
Dealing with Verga when you don't have the right units is very hard, however, I recently had to deal with an out of control Verga while playing Tarth and I ended up slaughtering his all juggernaut armies with nothing but archers and my 2 assassins champions with bows. I had his entire armies dead on the tactical map before they could even reach my troops. They have a lot of hit points but they have no defense. I'm pretty sure I would have been crushed if i was playing another faction
Oh Curgen's volcano, how I love thee.
I had something like this happen with a dark wizard army that was attacking one of my towns because he got displaced. There was no way I could beat him, I had no way to disrupt his spell that would 1 shot my entire defensive force. So after 3 reloads and manual tries of trying to kill him I decided just to see about auto resolve and to my surprise it won the battle on the on the first try heh.
I'm newer to the game, and to my surprise while playing last night I had a champion crit with an air spell, I forget the name but it teleports you to a location and does damage around the character. Was pretty cool since I didn't know spells could crit.
Ya but being new to the game it's a painful experience finding out what you can handle and what you can't. (sup dark wizard that said weakling and killed my noob army in one shot hehe) Ya maybe I'm bad but oh well, it doesn't change the fact that this mechanic is too punishing.
They really need to look at this. I downloaded the game a few days ago and been playing and it's just infuriating early game when your hero dies and gets a horrible injury. I basically ragequit or reload at that point. Of the weak early enemies, wolf packs seem to be the worst enemies that can just gib a unit on you because they cast berserk and then run across the map and smash the same unit. I have heard you can get a potion or something through quests, but this is way to random
One good idea I had was to make flag locks attackable but have decent hp. At least then you can try to do something about it instead of the other guy running away yelling neener neener while you sit there and can't do anything but wait. Maybe you could burn through it's health in 20 seconds or so making it not nearly as unbearable.
Zikurat is the same thing, once you get cats if your team keeps the side portals locked you win the game.
Once you have catapults, flaglocks become the jesus item that wins the game. Before cats, meh.
I've already had these type of close games last over 50 minutes. Without flag locks who knows how long 2 skilled teams playing each other could go.
Mines are supposed to be something you use strategically, not throw at someones feet and watch them explode. They should be used as a trap, which is what I'm sure the designers visioned when creating them, not a straight damage nuke like people use them as. What they should have, is an arming time. Nothing too long, but just enough time so that they are an ineffective direct damage skill. And I'm not being biased just because I get pwned by it or whatever. I play Oak mostly an
I've never been a part of this but I've seen other teams do it. Not capturing the portals on the map intentionally to farm the creeps from them. While this might sound like a good strategy, when our war score is 8 and yours is 4 or 5, you are doomed even if you have a little one level advantage from doing that.
I was playing 4v4 with 1 friend on sunday night and the other 2 were randoms every time and Angry Salamander jumps in the game and calls us premade f****ts. Seriously now, is this stuff necessary? I just booted him and his buddy for being dicks.
rook needs the speed boost because most people get boots of speed and rook already has a - on the speed soo anklet makes up for it
Rook most definately does not need a speed boost. Even with the anklet, every demigod is still faster than you and they will still catch you. I play rook all the time and hands down the 2 best items are blood of the fallen and the dark crimson vial.
I could care less if people quit. I get pissed off when they all quit before the end, denying me my favor. That is the only issue.
The problem with this game is that it's usually clear cut who is going to win early on with little way to change it. That is why people quit, because late game turnarounds are non-existant. But zomg, that 10 favor you get just for staying makes it all worth it!
I would hardly call it gold. I've only been able to get 1 working game going today so far. Now this might be because i prefer 4v4 and 5v5 games, but between the lobby crashing, people not connecting, disconnects, and game freezing, it's still a massive chore. I just had a game where the entire thing froze except for chat. We were all just sitting there talking and going wtf. Ended up having to quit after about 5 mins of sitting there hoping it would go again. I love/hat
The fact that favor isn't even fixed yet at all is just a huge lawl at this point.
The keep rebuying items thing doesn't work because the game takes your points for buying the item, and then next game you don't have the item AND YOU LOST THE POINTS WOOT!!!!
There is no Dodge message. The Evade message you are seeing is the dodge effect.
The pantheon games I played last night were all 2v2's on 5v5 maps..... sorry but that's worse than all crucible all the time.
Last night I played 2 games after this supposed fix. First game I had like 465 points. Second game I had.....65 points, enough to buy nothing..... Now why would that be. DIDN'T GET FIXED
It's quite game breaking when some people start multiplayer games with 1500 points and can buy most stuff and some people start with 0 and can't buy jack.
