One concern I had; if your ISP hates P2P can you manually opt to connect through the proxy server? So that you can bypass P2P all together. For example, if your ISP will shut down your connection or reset your connection if it detects P2P... you could conceivably connect to other players just fine... but then about 5 or 10 minutes into that game, BOOM. Disconnected. And the NAT wouldn't be able to save you by connecting you to a Proxy because you were apparently P2Ping just fine until your IS

Yes, when I am lucky enough to not disconnect from every other player I still get the exact same lag spikes too ZehDon. It's usually between 2 and 5 seconds or so. And any longer than 5 seconds and I usually get booted. I am assuming there's a time limit as to how long you can "freeze" before the game boots you from the other players. But I don't have any idea what is causing the freezes or why. It has nothing seemingly to do with my CPU or video card. Everything is usually going just

ZehDon, I've never had it happen in single player. But I get the exact same 5-10+ second pause and then every player in the game is simultaneously booted and turned into bots... It's very frustrating because around mid game you are just starting to have fun and turn the tide of war if you are losing etc. Then Boom, all AI and you're guaranteed to win. (AI are pathetic..) I'm curious what exactly renaming the dll file would do, but I haven't tried it yet. No time. -Aleckor

I always seem to disconnect (I.e. all the other players simultaneously "leave the game" and are replaced by bots) at or around 10 minutes into the game... Then impulse's chat stops too. I can still talk to it, but noone else seems to be able to talk back. Did I disconnect from impulse? does that affect connectivity to other players? And why after every 10 minutes into any particular game do I disconnect from everyone? It's quite annoying. I was having a nice 2 on 2, it wasn't

It all depends on if your Demigod can stand toe to toe with the enemy demigods or not. If you can usually win 1 on 1 fights, or almost always slaughter the enemy team when staying with your teammates and working together, then it makes good financial sense to upgrade your citadel while you still have the upper hand at the demigod level. If you don't have the upperhand at the demigod level, upgrading your citadel will only help if it stops them from being able to push through your line

Please keep the updates steady and regular. The only reason I'm still playing DemiGod is because of them. Your posts about what is changing, what is new, what you're working on, and the long term goals and future plans etc are what keep me playing and coming back. So yeah. Keep it up, duh! -Aleckor

Agreed, AI needs fine tuning. (Perhaps some super ridiculously mega-hardcore-nightmare-uber mode where the AI is as elite as the AI in WC3 is) Or yeah, remove them from multiplayer all together. -Aleckor

What if when you destroyed an enemy fortress, it was replaced with one of your own? Complete with all of your citadel upgrades (+hp +damage etc) Would that make it more exciting? That way if you were down to your last fortress, you could theoretically make the largest comeback in the history of Demigod. I like the fortresses providing bonuses idea too. -Aleckor
