sorry man, Im kind of a new player too, but I can at least answer your second question. the pining system works that every important object or an object that you performed a major action on, like colonizing a planet, bets automatically pinned. as your empire expands, you can click on an item, usually only a large category, like a planet (I assume you would always want your fleets on the empire tree) and click the little pin icon at the top of the screen. also you can hover t
