If don't have an interrupt or a stun, just don't even try to 1v1 a rook. When engaged on same level and skill, a rook will rely on pots, hammer and eventually try to TP out. And thats stuf you HAVE to counter. So for instance, if you play DA or QoT, just don't even try. Then you WILL need a Sigil of Vitality and/or a couple of Big HP pots. Now let's take a second and look at the Rooks strong suits : - Towers - Boulder + Hammer Towers: Boulder +

/wave at LifeK. At level 10+, a good Oak definitely gets the upper hand 1v1 vs Ooze UB, provided you pick the fighting spot and got a sigil too. Try to move him into a lane, preferably on the enemy side of the map near a flag. Spam Penitence and SoF when the creep wave arrives, and you'll hammer him. I promise.
Same problem here too. I'm in France. Yesterday everything worked just fine but not today. /wave Bier_Kanonier
quoting post- "Noobs" or "Noobs Welcome" : This indicates that the game is suited for a noob. In here, Sedna's summon Yetis, Queen of Thorns don't pick Bramble shield, Oaks just stand still and hit you with Autoattack, Regulus don't fall back under 50% health and UB's follow they prey deep into the enemy base (when I say deep I mean the first 2 towers usually). ... "Pro game" or "Pros" : Usually games aimed at the top 100
Absolutely, sorry for the confusion. Will update guide :)
I think most of the people who don't heed game titles don't visit the forum, and there seems to be so many of them . I've had a guy join an "experienced players only" lobby I was in, and he fed about 6 kills then ragequit. After the match I see him hosting a "new players" game!
Hey Illegal ! I'm afraid you're right. At least your player learned the lesson ! [quote who="Evil_Gia" reply="4"
Yeah I guess you're right and the clan options will ease that out. But I play during EU time, and honestly I always see tons of games in the main lobby. I totally agree, it's just a game and personnally I'm not interrested in my ranking. But I have a family and a full time job, so if I can avoid to waste my precious game time in boring games, I'l give it a shot on the forums. Not expecting miracles here, just want people to ask themselves wether or not they should, for their o
Same for you Kokujin, it seems our two posts are complementary after all :)
My friends and I are pissed because no matter what game name we come up with (good players, pro game, premade - you name it), we end up playing against noobs who obviously either can't read, or think just because the beat the AI in single player mode doesn't make them noobs anymore. So this is my attempt to try to explain to newer players how to read the game names and to understand what it means. For most forum readers this will be pretty obvious, but apparenttly it's not obvious eno

Above level 10, the biggest danger comes from the boulder roll + hammer slam imo. So when ub comes fight a rookie, make sure you have enough HP left. at 50 % HP, i'd recommend to retreat...
On the mana side, I always said the Rod was better than the HoL, because you can use it combat every 10 sec (15sec - 5sec use). It's cheaper than HoL and the passive mana regen just can't be ignored. Definitely worth having !
FF - Focus Fire (or Fist Fuck, as you want) - used to indicate you would like to insert weapons or other magical substance in the anus of a specific ennemy during a group engagement, avoiding splitting your DPS.
Thx Tender, hope you'll win from now on :)
While this somewhat overlaps with the command, "Kill", I would like to recommend FF or Focus-- In team engagements, target this player. He or she has the highest damage/health ratio, a difficult stun, or some other undesirable trait and needs to be taken out first. Hint: Fire TB is usually easier to tackle than health-stacking rook.
Does FF really mean focus fire? Cause i was secretly hoping it meant fist fuck. "He
From what I figure, going with starting minions is suicide since I need every extra hp I can get (Banded Armor and Scalemail from the start).
I'd say you're wrong right here at first. Cause banded mail does give you a 600 HP buffer, but priests will heal you for far more over a combat. Try to get priests + 1 combat potion, and in 1v1 i almost garantee a kill vs beast (in early game ofc). Ereb can be tricky since he can have priests too.
Man I love cat videos. +1 from me !
I like playing Shield QoT and I lulz at venom spit. And Sedna lulz too. And Erebus too. Even Tower-Transfer Rook lulz. Oh yes, Oak turns silver and lulz too. So I think before claiming stuff like "this is the only way bla bla bla" you should get more experience, because your current total of 12 games played with 7 losses doesn't really speak for you. I'm personnaly thinking you spent more time writing your post than you actually played the game :)
I woul
Same problem. Was playing alright before beta patch, but since beta unable to join a single pantheon game for the reason posted in the OP.
Another good tip imo : learn to play different type of demigods. Why ? So you can help filling roles in your team. I play 3v3 most of the time, and the usual ennemy setup i encounter is UB, Erebus and Regulus. If my team is heavy on assassins too, I go for support (QoT for shield spame, Sedna for Heal spam). Adapt to the game type too. Rook is good for Dominate (flag control) while QoT is good for Forteress mode.
Idols are ok in that order imo : 1 - Priests 4 for heal/ranged DPS 2 - Archers 4 for Ranged dps 3 - Minotaurs 1 for mine popping But if for the same price I can get a HoL, it's a no brainer for me.
Also, you have high armor, but bite also reduces that amount as well.
Well, bad news for rook players, you have average armor. Wanna kill Erebus in 1v1 ? Just don't play rook. Actually I wouldn't play rook at all in 1v1. Erebus is definitely one of the best 1v1 choices with sedna.
I think of it as a gadget, I never lost a game against it :)
