There's an option for checking the integrity which should download the rest. Not at my PC, so I can't check exactly what it's called.

Is there a way to scrool through them ie choose 1st, assign, press button to next ship, assign, etc Some time I want idle ships so can the turn button show up even if there are idle ships[/quote] You can select the ship and hit 'pass' on the bottom left to have a ship miss the turn.
Could be their servers straining. How many people are trying to download this at the same time?
You can tilt the view with the middle mouse button held down. Is that what you meant?

Also should add that I haven't hit a bug yet...
OK, so I beat the filthy Drengin in just over 60 mins. First play and I'm happy with what I see so far in this very early alpha (just adding that to demonstrate that I'm aware it's a very early alpha! :)) Few thoughts: Hitting the side of the screen doesn't scroll (probably a pointless point as I'd imagine it's in the works.) Loving the zoom-to-where-the-cursor-is thing. Might be nice to have a pop-up of planet details when clicked (unin

My Steam just started downloading the alpha. It's happening, people. That is all.

I'm at work at the moment, so I'm not really getting antsy yet, what with not being able to do anything about it (although I kind of wish I'd switched on my PC and a VNC thing so I could waste my paid time fretting about it.) I'll be getting home at about 6 (UK time.) I'm hoping it'll be live by then.
This is all very well and good, but wouldn't it be prudent to start a similar thread for all the insane ideas? Just for balance...
It was mainly because there had been replies that I hadn't seen. I've been lost in a world of DayZ the last couple of months but, with the Alpha so close, I'm back and ready to whine about things that don't work. I'll stop now; I'm sure that there are actual current discussions that could use some attention.

Yeah, they could all be awful, but that's the risk you take, I suppose. But I agree, here's to them all knocking it out of the park. Now that I've reawakened a two month old thread, I shall go and hang my head in shame somewhere.
