The dungeon hybrid does sound interesting. It would be a lot of fun but I suppose it will have to be in a different game. I've not played it but isn't that what Disciples 3 aspires to be? I'm reinstalling E:WoM too. I was just going to wait for 1.3 but I'll give it another go.

Elemental 1.2a was "just released" this month in 2011 and Tom Chick takes a look. It summarizes what most of us have seen. Much improvement in the interface. Great magic and tech. Fun city building. AI is poor. Still crashes sometimes.

Keep in mind this is pre release hype. Remember the pre release hype for Supreme Commander 2. "Oh it's gunna be all bigger and better than Forged Alliance." Invoke the name of a beloved franchise and buyers assume the new game will be like that with better graphics.

Then the price is lowered to hit the next level of targetted demand which wouldn't spend $60 but are willing to spend $30 or $40 dollars. Then eventually the game goes on final sales to tap out the rest of the curve. If they just set the price at $30 dollars they are quite frankly missin

I've often though I should start a thread, as a public service, to let everyone know what games I purchase so they can watch for the up coming sale in a week

Since one of the games is Galactic Civilizations 2 would you email [email protected] and let them know it didn't archive. This is the answer I received from my support ticket. " Impulse allows you to redownload your games at any time, so archives are not necessary. The download and archive functionality was designed for Stardock applications,
Seeing as how you don't like real time games, I heavily suggest trying the Shogun 2 Demo before going out and buying the game. Those of us who are loving Shogun 2 most likely enjoy real time battles just as much as we enjoy turn based empire building.
You can always auto resolve but don't cheat yourself. Play the realtime battles and see how detailed they are.

I played the demo several times and decided to buy it even though I have all the Total War series. I didn't think I could get into the feudal Japan era and didn't like learning the Japanese unit names. But it grew on me and I bought it. I must say it is a beautiful game. The presentation is spot on. The sea battles on the coast lines are absolutely gorgeous and the boat are teaming with moving "living" people. I also like the focus on the islands of Japan.

bump. I created 4 archives this weekend and none of them would restore. It would go through the motions for about 30 seconds, claim the install was complete, then relabel itself as available. I downloaded and archived those games and then they would restore from those files. I downloaded and archived Kings Crusade but when I restored it no text was on the menus or in the game. I had to install the game via the download and then I could select my language f

Hmmm. Sims Medieval is out now and I'm not seeing any of the usual EA DRM on it. Where are the activation limits or the need for an EA account or secuROM? This could be impressive. I might just buy this.

You can download a demo and take it for a spin yourself for 90 minutes of game time. You can dock at space stations or land on city platforms on planets without a load screen. A path on your hud will guide you to landing sites (reminds me of the landing computers in the Alien movie) Another thing I like is you can dock at a space station and go to the hanger where

I'm seeing a very significant boost in video performance. I'm running it on a computer with just a built in Intel video and normally set the game to default settings for video. But it seemed to be running so smoothly I tried setting everything to highest and increased the res to 1280x1024. (I might have ran it at 1280x1024 before but can't remember) Anyway it still is running silky smooth. Great job guys and gals!!! <img
Since then I've found that the best thing to do is when you're forced to upgrade for one performance reason or another is to buy the most reasonable 2nd tier technology available at that instant and drive it til the wheels fall off. I'm sure by today's standard my Intel Core2 Duo 6600 @2.4GHz is a POS but it does all I need it to do.
Best answer. Trying to keep up with tech is never ending. You have to take the plunge at some point. Know what you want and then wait for

Wow you did strike the jackpot. I googled it and it does contain the ultimate edition of GCII. Sins is great! Try it out and if you like the base game of Sins then Pre-Order Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. That will contain the original Sins plus all add ons to date when it is release later this year. Dark Star One is a space RPG game like Freelancer, X3, or Evochron Mecenary. Your mileage may vary. I don't know about Star Assault. Don't forget to
That is the only reason why I don't build dunovs much the constant having to wait for you to use it good ability kills it. It's the only side firerign cap with a forward shootinf ability and it's killing it. That is the major flaw of the Dunov. I can and do have Dunov play books, but it's just ineficient because of the waiting for the damn thing to turn.
[e digicons]k1[/e] I totally agree. I've tested the Donov and compared it to other caps. It is far more effecti

To get the discount I had to order from the link in the original post. https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/store.aspx I had to log in at sinsofasolarempire.com It won't discount if buying using Impulse. I know that might not be everyones problem but maybe it will help a few.
