My Suggestion for Star ports would be: Stardock - somehow i like this word dunno why...
Sognar
Autosave - maybe every 30 minutes or so instead of just "new turn" But yeah, warnings are good, but dont overdo them, b.c. then it does become annoying fast. Which reminds me - simply make an option out of if, when you want to be asked for extra security and when not. Like the Event/Notification system in Europa Universalis 3/5 or Crusader Kings 2 (not that huge as we dont have to deal with realmtime issues o.c.)
Hi, as with the release of the Alpha several Lets plays / look at have sprung up on youtube. I was wondering wether those people actually are "Elite Founders" or did they get kind of a "Press access"?
As i had a few crashes lately with the current Version :( I began to wonder if there are actual Crash/Error Logs and if we are supposed to submit them to the Forum some way or if the Devs will get their hands on them in some automated fashion?
Does anybody else have problems Accesing some of the Items in the Vault? I do get a link to a "octet stream" instead of the actual Files for some of the things in there (e.g. the 2nd latest File)
I will use some form of my Wifes name :) An anagram or some form of mixed up sylabies or something :) Btw. They totaly should have allowed Spaces and - in the names :( I mean its a Space game after all ;)
I like the Proposoal Frogboy did make in this post :)
I strongly suggest that you actually can choose where the capital is errected :(
Well the easiest way to solve is to make all userinput freely configureable - not just the keyboard, or even less :)
Prozessor: Hersteller: GenuineIntel CPU-Familie: 0x6 CPU-Modell: 0x3a CPU-Stepping: 0x9 CPU-Typ: 0x0 Geschwindigkeit: 3400 MHz 4 logische Prozessoren 4 technische Prozessoren HyperThreading: Nicht unterstützt FCMOV: Unterstützt &n
A few more details on the error message would be great :)
I Agree with the new Moraleallignment system all events should benefit equaly but different - so its not so much of a pain to be "non evil" most of the time (as it was in GC2) - Most events i have seen so far are imports from GC2 so mostlikely havent been adjusted yet anyway :)
The ships shouldnt Move at the first click on the star map - i usually do click just to make the path visible and to plan ahead with multiple fleets and so on. But i dont actually want the ship to move right then so a doubleclick for move and single click to "plan" the path would be nice. AND please add a ctrl+click waypoint system ^^ And a way to scrap old ships (i know this will come soon but i really want to get rid of my scout ships when i don
[quote who="Agenteusa1" reply="10" id="3452924"] So everyone tell me? I want to help with developing the game and pointing out processes (we arent talking about detecting bugs here). Why should I pay for ir as if it was a full game??? I'm sorry you guys will never have your point, the man is right, if you want people to help you at na alfa stage just throw some invites and charge a measly fee since shit, its me who is helping you. UTC +1 Also i am quite busy atm so i only can play every other week or so :(
So When to expect the Mails going out? (roughly)? (Morning/Noon/Afternoon/Evening) - Stardock local time o.c. b.c. its allready Noon at my place when they start to get up :)
While i Really liked the SotS 3D maps and found that orientating in them was pretty easy i have to Agree with Gaunathor that the "Go everywhere you like" is too huge a hurdle both in Control asspects as in Visualitation asspects to make it work on Current Controll and Display Techniques. You would need a proper "3D"-Mouse of a kind and a real 3D Vision to make it even remotely feasable in my opinion. And 3D Vision has to go beyond "Steroscopic" Pictures that we have on 3D Monitors and
Great News - i hope that there wont be too many Engine bugs (as in it will work on almost all machines form the start) so that you can focus on the Features mostly :) Looking forward to do testing and stuff :)
