Has there been any? I'm using the same settings as before (Gigantic map, Uncommon Planets, rare habitable) Before I was finding approx. 15 or so within reach before bumping into other civs (13 opponents) now the max seems to be 6. Had a couple of starts where I have found none in the original range of survey ship, I have also found 0 precursors. Using Crusade. Questions: Is there changes to this as I found this a balanced number before & are all the

Hi Whilst I really like this game, I cannot devote any time to it in its current state. Is it therefore worth it to get a copy of Gal Civ 2 whilst they iron out the bugs in this one? Is Gal Civ 2 mostly bug free? If so, which version should I aim to get?
Your wrong re this being a moan thread. If I thought the game was rubbish I would simply move on to something else. In my opinion the game has a lot of promise, hence why I took the time to write a summary of where I think improvements could be made. If the Devs choose not to address these issues that is up to them. For instance, I paid full price for Diablo 3 but thought it was nowhere near as good as Diablo 2 - Rather than spend my time writing reviews, I simply haven't played it ag
Ok, I'm hoping this will help the devs out (if they read it). These are the few issues I feel that need addressing that I've noticed. Obviously this list isn't exhaustive. 1) Population. With Crusade there is no incentive (indeed mainly penalties) for increasing population. The square root formula currently being used just doesn't make it worthwhile to invest in any buildings of this type basically doing away with the whole Food/morale paths as well. This is a shame and
Can confirm that this is the case in crusade. Just met the Terrans with a -231 cash balance. Offered open borders & 3 techs - in exchange got their 2 techs, 1/4 of every resource (early game so was only Dur & Prom) and all 12 of their ships including 2 colony ships & 3 constructors
New to this so don't really understand that. I assume I go to that file & edit it what's target type? change to faction? do I put my faction name here? If I change this file (I know keep the original) will this screw up any future games - especially with this specific tech? Also noticed the same problem for Trade Route Optimization (Trade route value +10%) this seems to do nothing as well
Someone else replied on the steam forum that this tech does nothing, Is this a known bug?
Hi I'm having trouble with this tech. It is part of the planetary specialization tech (the other 2 being Enhanced production & Accelerated Growth) I traded this from another race but as far as I can see it does nothing. It is meant to offer food+1. The accelerated growth (growth+10%) & Enhanced Production (raw production +1) are both showing their bonuses in the appropriate places, growth & raw production respectively, but the food bonus isn't showin
