yeah same - it took ma ages to realise that as well

no - I make sure that that in not enforced by the UP. I actually save the game before any UP votes specifically if the "one week" or "neutral ground" resolutions come up This is so I can go back to a previous save and make sure another vote is cast on another matter. The bug may link to the one week rule, but even if I wait one week (if the T star isn't destroyed) nothing still happens
yup- that was it ! Even though I copied the files across, the settigns weren't all the same. Thanks Isimov for the wake up call !
No it doesn't - I have to select the menu and click automate again. When I play the game in XP as opposed to Win7, the automate function works fine, even when the ship is clicked. The same game files are used on both installs and the XP game directory is copied across to Win7 and it happens there. I thought the copying of the files would sort out all the configs, but am going to double check Isimov if they are in fact the same. I'm sure that must be the
Dammit - I was wrong. The SAME thing happens on any ship I send out. I click on the ship, either via menu or manulaly located and the selected ship just stops dead, auto or even if's en route somewhere !! Can anyone help ?
I have the opposing player as an ally. I then speak to that race and break alliance then attempt to use the terror star by aiming at the star. A warnign appears that war will be declared by them, then nothing. If I reclick on the terror star on the the star, "1.0" appears - saying it needs another week to get there, even though it is clearly the closest it can be. If I declare war, the same thing as above happens.
I seem to have fixed it by copying the xp My Games subfolder across to the Win7 My Games Folder overwrting that one
I've reported this bug including save file and screenshot before but no reply. So re-read the bug submission process and it says to post here as well. I have 3 terror stars lines up against 3 enemy stars ready to destroy. However, once I click on them to do their thing, nothing happens: just a warning war will be declared and then nothing. Can anyone help ? Or do I submit to stardock bug email and link to this post ? Thanks <p
please ignore this double post - another post has full details of problem
Just an update - both sets of game files are shared between an Endless Universe /ToA install. One on Win7 x64 and one on XP. If I click on auto to a craft it will go along and do it's auto thing. However, when I select it again, the auto stops and I have to manually reassign auto. This does NOT happen on the XP install even though they are sharing the same game files off the same drive. I have cross referenced the game/interface options and haven't noted any diff
ships not automating Am running Win7 64bit and Gall Civ2 Endless Universe ToA 2.03 Just started playing and my ships (suvey ship and miner) have stopped automating. I have to manually reclick automate on each vessel otherwise they just stand there in space doing nothing. I've verified my install via impulse. Have I missed anything ?

Hi there. I have a machine dual booting on XP and Win7. Am trying to play ToA without having 2 installs: one for Win7 and one for XP My ToA install is installed on my XP install on a shared drive.Works fine. I want to use the same directory/install for Win7 I tried to run the EULaunch.exe but the only option I get is to "install game" splash screen. I have copied the GC2TwilightArnor file to the My Games folder in Win7. The Dark Avatar se
Yeah I always use them, nice morale boost too
I just change the game resolution to match the desktop resolution in my prefs.ini and it worked fine. Will this reg file be of help if all working fine on win7 64 bit after my fix ?
