Most strategy games these days have been totally dumbed down to appeal to the average gamer. I sincerely hope it wont be that way with this game. Hoping for even more complexity than GAL CIV 2. Does anyone know in what ways this game will be either more complex or dumbed down compared to the previous game?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but will there be characters that can be assigned as governors or admirals? maybe have a EXP system there they can gain bonuses for winning battles?
The problem with Sins of a Solar Empire was that there were so many ships, and they were difficult to micromanage in battle. Personally i am OK with smaller fleets when we are free to design our own ships.
From what the article states it seems that while you COULD fill out the tech tree, he is saying that it isn't exactly the best way to go to spread resources that thin.
