I see in the feature section of per app skinning Chrome is skinned. Finally Chrome doesn't default to Windows basic!
So nobody uses any third party font rendering programs? I guess I'm all alone..... :-(
Hey all, I like to use a program called MacType to help with font smoothing, but I can't figure out how to allow WindowBlinds access, or actually allow MacType access to WindowBlinds. When both are running, and I open MacType I see WindowBlinds is excluded with a status of "Ignored(disabled)", and it only shows under "inaccessable system processes". Does anyone know how to get it to work? Without MacType any fonts in any skins just looks bad to me.

I couldn't find any posts by searching, so if it's here, sorry. When using WB 6.4xx, and you have a window maximized, and open another window, and maximize that one, the caption text/and/or the title bar does not blur. Does anyone know why, and how to fix it? It makes for very hard reading when you have multiple windows open, and I hate having to keep minimizing all but one. I also noticed that even it the window is not maximized, and you hover the title bars over one

Sorry I jumped the gun. I found out how. You need to do it in SkinStudio under Substyle Management. I needed to free up some space, and this works well.
I could not find any post about this, so sorry if they are here. I am currently using a skin that has multiple sub skins. Example: Aero Ultimate by FediaFedia. It has Aero Ultimate Defualt as the first selection, and then 13 sub skins. Some for different colors, and some different versions. I only want the first one, so is there a way to remove the others? I know you can delete entire skins from within the Windowblinds configuration, but can you delete sub
It did it to me too. Changed from black background with white text, to black background with dark blue text. Hmmm.

Actually this will probably be the last one for Vista. They pretty much ironed out what was needed. If Vista ran the way it does now when it was released I think it would have been much more accepted.

They have been running ECW since June 2006. You only just noticed this now? Do you also know they are changing their name from Sci-Fi to Sy-Fy because they want other ranges of programming other than just space ships and aliens.
Never mind. I figured it out. It was the OS value in the UIS2 Caption Height settings. I just needed to increase it from 24 to 28.
I have a problem with the titlebar shrinking when I maximize a window. If it is sized to fit in my viewing area, it looks great, but as soon as I maximize it, it seems to shrink to about 3/4 the size, and my titlebar buttons are only showing the bottom half. It sort of looks like it maximizes above the top of the viewing area of the monitor. I know that is not happening since I tried other skins, and even the titlebar text centers itself to fit the now shrunken titlebar,&nbs
As I was typing this I was going to say I have updates available for 3 out of 5 things I have, and Windowblinds wasn't one of them, but it just popped up that an update is available, so thanks for all your help guys!
I have Impulse, but the only thing I can find is to buy it again. Where is the update part, or do I have to buy it again?
OK so I have Windowblinds 6.3, and I see 6.4 is now out, so how do I update 6.3 to 6.4? I tried to find an "update software" button within Windowblinds, but could not find any, nor could I find how to update through windowblinds.net. Can anyone help, or is it not even worth it?
I am trying to edit the active taskbar button from a WB theme, and I have no idea how to change the color. I open it in SkinSudios, click on Edit Startmenu and Taksbar, click on Buttons, click on Text tab, select Activated for "State to modify", and I can see "Text colour", but where do you change the actual button colour? I looked all over, and no luck. Please help!?!?

Ah yes. I see that now. I edited a Windowblinds skin I downloaded. If I save it in a different folder, and name it say "original vista", and then I edit it, and save it, and don't like it, how do I get the original one I saved back into Windowblinds? I deleted the edited one, and I tried to just copy the original one to the Windowblinds folder on my C drive, but it doesn't show up when I open Windowblinds as a selectable skin.
First off I did look through the posts, and even searched for "go back to original skin", but nothing was found. OK so my first try at "editing" an existing skin went well, but after I changed what I wanted, it promted me to "save changes", and I did. Now I closed everything, and when I went back to edit the same one again, I can only edit the existing one. Is there a way to go back to the very original skin I started with, or do I need to work with what I already changed?&n
