+1 to this. I have noticed that Missiles are now way overpowered from what they should be, with the Rapid Fire type tech's. Currently it seems now (depending on tech choice) the best weapons are Missile, Kinetic & then Beam. Needs a little more balance review from the devs with the enhancement tech's in mind.

2 Person + Full AI Multiplayer Game on Huge Map We played stable all of Friday for a little over 400 turns and now my friend (I am host) is crashing regularly after resuming our game today. Hi, I have no idea if this is intended but if it is, it's both awesome & hilarious. Every time I pan my camera on the main map close to a black hole and start to zoom in a bit with the mouse wheel, my screen gets sucked right into the black hole! lol Intended or not, it's a nice touch [e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e]

Can you speak a little about each races tech tree and the unique tech's they get? We heard from Paul previously about the Terran Super-Support Ship, as well as the Iconian Planet/Terriforming Tech's. In addition to my first post of multiplayer bugs found during a new game using 0.82, my friend and I also started to experience crashes when we loaded and resumed our game on Saturday (literally during the save game load as well as throughout playing the save). I have same problem as above - after all my files appear to complete uploading, the ticket submission fails and I get that same error message. Tried 3 times in Chrome and 2 in Explorer.
Working perfectly for me as well in single player. Not at all in multiplayer.
Settings: Game played in Multiplayer: 2 Human (1 Custom & 1 Stock) & 6 AI Majors + Common Minors on Huge Map Bugs: - When colonizing planets, neither of us are getting Ideology Events/Choices. We have been unable to do anything Ideology related as a result. Unsure if AI is having same problem or not. We are approx. 70 turns in with 9+ planets each. - Still seeing each others Pirate Warning

Since a Military Starbase does not provide active defence of a Planet or Shipyard in it's AOE (other than providing some stat buffs to ships) it isn't a complete priority to take out when attacking a Star System. One way to enhance it's value and require Players/AI to commit ships & effort in attacking a Military Starbase before really invading a planet, would be to add Planetary Defence/Invasion Resistance modules. Playing with this some more, I'm pretty sure the significant Lag experienced in gameplay when using a custom race is almost 100% to do with the different textures/colour palette and ties into the game showing the original default race textures & palette in some of the windows still... I'm guessing the game does not cache the design templates in my new look and so each turn is having to load the design and re-paint/texture when I enter screens like the Designer, Ship Report, Starba
