I have 2.0 on my machine and the upload works fine, so let's see if it does for you. Bara

I just updated the forums again. Please do another hard refresh to get the latest javascript! (Press Ctrl + F5 to hard refresh) This update AJAX's the view edits button. That should decrease load times and the page load issues some people were having on some posts. I've also done a bit of parsing on the edits so now quotes, smilies, links, etc. will show up properly. Please let me know if you notice any issues! Bara
Since too many people still use IE6 on the forums, we can't simply drop support too. I've read in other posts that forum support for IE6 has been dropped long ago. Your statement seems to imply that it's still supported. Is it still supported?
As far as I know, we are still supporting major IE6 issues, but ignoring minor things. Of course, I'm trying to push away from that, and to go with the "2 versions of IE suppor

The custom control for the editor we use is actually a 3rd party control. There is an update available but I believe they dropped IE6 support in the update. Since too many people still use IE6 on the forums, we can't simply drop support too. This latest update may provide spell checker support (either built in or through Firefox), but I'm not too sure. I'll do some research and see what I can do though. Switching the control to something new entirely is

This is just a test Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Let

I have a fix ready for the long page loads, broken pages, etc. related to the new view edits functionality. I also have a fix ready for the "can't see op's edits" bug. However, I won't be pushing them until Monday morning. For the time being, please ignore any bugs related to those 2 issues until Monday morning's update! Thank you. Bara

Great change though, griefers or not it's neat to see edits I'm seeing a minor problem with very short posts that were edited. The forums have been updated again today with a minor change. If a user edits his/her post, there will now be a "View Edits" button. Clicking this button will show a history of that reply/post, along with highlights (red = removed text, green = added text). If you do not see the button or clicking the button does nothing, please do a "hard refresh" by holding Ctrl and pressing F5. This will clear your cache and force a download of the new image and javascript file.</
Well, now I'm thinking what I saw was a search burp because some later searches over at Elemental showed a bunch of clutter from off-topic threads. Is there any chance we'll ever be able to search just the topics we want to read (an 'Advanced' local search)? I just tested it in Chrome and it seems to be working fine. Could you answer a few questions for me? 1. What version of Chrome are you running? Click on the wrench icon on the top right (next to the address bar), click on About Google Chrome, then tell me the number below where it says Google Chrome in big text. 2. What OS are you running? 3. Are you running your OS in 32-bit or 64-bit? Also, try doing a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) to see if that help
