A fix was just applied on our end that should have fixed any Object Desktop subscription problems. Please check the "View Subscriptions" popup in Stardock Central and verify that it is accurate. Bara
One request: When logged in to SDC, it would be nice if clicking on Go To My Account would take you to the store account page already logged on there. Also, no version of DX is showing as installed. XP(3.50 installed) or Win7(3.96 installed)
We can't auto-log you in to the store for security reasons. Sorry. As for your DesktopX issues... Can you try uninstalling it then re-inst
3 days later, still not fixed. But then, the site problems probably take precedence.
Patience, my friend :) Is this actively preventing you from using Stardock Central or your software? Bara
When SDC auto updates , it has a dialog box open that says "Updating Stardock Central". The text runs off of the right side of the window.
I noticed that, it'll be fixed in the next update. Bara
The dates being wrong or off should not prevent you from using Stardock Central or the products in your OD subscription. I'll look into it in the morning and see what's going on. Bara
Just pushed an update to Stardock Central (Beta 2.70). The changelog is as follows: Added a right-click option for software to go to it's product page on stardock.com (or wherever makes most sense). Now showing the logged-in user's avatar and username in the corner of the Downloads section. In the Downloads section, there is a new "View Subscriptions" link at the bottom right to view your current Object Desktop and Wi
Thanks for the responses, folks, and I realize I could've been clearer in one aspect of my problem description. In stating that "SC will not permit me to install to a directory of my choosing," I was referring to the Stardock Central program itself. From the get-go, Ive run SC with the "Silently install new software" item unchecked, and've had no problem installing Object Desktop stuff. I've got a sizable his

Can't speak for anybody else, but it's always seemed to me that if some head developer sits around afterhours discussing the latest game session they've had with their friends, chances are they're indie. If the head developer sits around afterhours discussing how well their stocks are doing with their friends, they're Game Industry. <br /
No, it was not re-created. Just have the one with the 1.26.025 version number in it.
But Multiplicity is still showing as having an update in SDC? Bara
No, they no longer exist. ( I did, however, find Multiplicity in those places, which is not installed.) Reinstalled, SDC shows as installed.
So everything is OK now? Just making sure :) Bara
Guess I goofed again...lol!!! We are talking WinFX 5. ODPlus is another thread....I got mixed up a tad. sorry.
I took a look at your registry and everything seems to be OK, so I'm not quite sure what the issue is. Let's try something. Can you uninstall WindowFX completely, then delete these registry keys (if they exist, tell me if they don't): HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOF
Deleted that key. Rebooted. Still didn't show as installed. Installed through SDC, rebooted, still doesn't show as installed. Impulse window says: "One or more of your applications need to update to correctly show as Installed. Would you like to continue?" I clicked n

For both installs, did you install it from SDC, Impulse, or the store? Did you uninstall it in between installs? Bara I must apologize. I goofed. I installed Plus 2 via SDC, Plus 1.9 via store, since SDC didn't offer it.
ObjectD

Just made Stardock Central 2.67 live. Starting Stardock Central should automatically update it to the latest version. If it does not, wait an hour and try again (if it still doesn't, let me know!).
SDC.
Someone will contact you soon to retrieve some information to help resolve this problem. Bara
