What nomotog said. I did think of orbiting planets, but rejected it due to the square grid. Didn't know about the hex map. Now it's possible and highly advise-able as well. And in light of the hex grid, I doubt we'll see separate star system levels. There's no point really. What we could see is buildable as asteroids and moo
This is a really simple one. The long rant is below. PUT MORE STUFF IN SPACE. In GC2 the map was basically empty and immutable - there were a total of 5 objects: Suns, planets, asteroids, anomalies and ships, 3 of which were completely static(excluding the gimicky death star). So what, we'll start having specialist economies vs cott... oh sorry planetary economies. I do love the idea though. There's also a ton of other things I'd like to see. I wonder how far along the development the game is.
