However, there's been a big change in the way Virgin Media treat P2P connections and I am now no longer a

Yeah, in the last tournament me being in a different time zone was a bit of an issue. If I was still at university I would give a definite yes, but tbh, I can't really say that atm the way things are. I mean I'm at work half 8 to 6 and I'm (allegedly) meant to be revising in the evening [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] So there's really a pretty small window of opportunity on weekdays for when I can actually play given that that time is when most Americans will probably

I haven't been playing the game that much. Last game was about August 27th-28th I think. I've been out of town on a course for the past couple of weeks so I haven't actually played any video games [e digicons]^_^'[/e] I'm not sure. I mean if you're short on numbers and need one more to make up another 3 man team I'd step in and I'd be prepared to pay £6.66 to support the tourny ( regardless of whether I compete or not ). &nbs

League of Legends is not a rip off of Demigod. However, it could effectively be called a "rip-off" of DotA. However, that doesn't effectively make the game "bad". The same comment could be made about DG being a rip off of DotA. League of Legends has fantastic support, loads of characters and different character skins and the runes and masteries give an incentive for people to keep playing and be creative with their builds. It's a good game, with admitted

Is there any reason that every demigod except Oculus gets a little improvement? I'm not meaning his awesome skills that really don't need a buff. I mean the dodgy ones like Sacrifice (meh...), Lightning Blast (does this even work?) and ball lightning (would be nice if it had a use other than tower fodder before having 5 points in it when it suddenly becomes EPIC!!!).

I'm going to download it later on tonight I think. I read it's got a lot of heroes, doesn't it? 30 if I remember correctly?

The thing is though, the buff is lost after the character is killed. Ironwalkers is a worthwhile exploit for rook players. 550 gold for 1000 armour for 1 life is worthwhile. That can just be done at the citadel; no problem. For desperate boots though the admin of waiting till you are below 30% and dropping the item and having a team-mate pick it up is a bit more hassle than it's worth tbh.

A lot of the changes here are good. One point though, people thought citadel eating minion oaks were annoying before, and now this... :P Hauberk: 1500 Theurgists's Hat: 750 Fell-Darkur: 2250 Forest Band: 450 Twig of Life: 1500 Did a quick test run against AI on normal settings. Eating the citadel is much easier and faster now.
How often do you think it is feasible to blow 1500 mana in the field for the worst minion army in the game?
More than that. To summon 4 yetis costs 1900 mana :/ So yeah, whatever other buff is discussed later, the first and obvious buff is reducing the mana cost which, to put it bluntly, is currently a joke [e digicons]:S[/e]

6 Replies 4,076 Views

You wouldn't need to increase their HP too considerably if you reduced the mana cost of summoning them. Right now the cost of summoning Yeti's is just ridiculous (erebus gets minions at no mana cost, oak at practically no cost). HORN OF YETI III IN NO WAY SHOULD COST MORE THAN SILENCE!!! :/ I mean even compare it to QoT minons mana cost. The cost of summoning shamblers doesn't increase going from SSII to SSIII (fixed at 625 mana). Whereas HoYII costs

Would be improved by getting frost nova. Being able to lock a flag in an enemy demigods face or port out without any trouble is just too powerful to miss. With my fire TB build I tend to pick up a point in frost nova about level 11- 12. I prefer playing with blood though tbh. With 4 hp items and 1 helm you can push most dgs out of the lane and get half caps much easier. Personal preference though.
