I really liked the 'heroes' approach of Rebellion. You could send your heroes to perform certain tasks (Diplomacy, espionage, sabotage, ...). Admirals boosted your fleets. I totally agree with Mivo ! Steam is becoming too powerfull and shows indeed dictatorship. I'm very fond of GOG because of their no DRM approach. You buy it, you keep it. I normally don't preorder anymore. But for this game from Stardock, I make an exception, even for 99$, the highest amount I ever spend on a game. Why : because Stardock still care about their customers. I was an early buyer of Elemental, and I really appreciate how they handled the follow up. That's why I have confidence that Stardock will deliver a game up to par with our expectations, even when they need a few attempts as with Elemental. And by the
