Thanks for the ideas! I downloaded paint.net yesterday and so far I've created a couple glass buttons and made a fire background! It's so easy to use and their tutorials are great! Thanks Bichur!
So, I guess, to actually create the image itself, I need to know how to use Photoshop? Okay, that puts a serious kink in my plans. Anyone have some good tutorials for Photoshop? [e digicons]:)[/e]
I've looked through all the tutorials and haven't been able to find the answer to my question. I know this may sound silly but where do you find the graphics used for the start menus and so forth? Are they all created in Photoshop or a similar program? If so, is there a tutorial out there somwhere that tells how to create them?
I fear that I have gotten myself in a little over my head! Is there anyone out there who would take pity on this poor newbie and help me get started with windowblinds and how to make my own skinz? I've looked at the tutorials and they've helped a little but I'm still lost! I guess I'm looking for some good step by step instructions that will explain things for me!
