OK, so I had the same conclusion as the OP: that the cost of upgrading a building is simply too expensive and that the point of breaking even was very far down the road. Granted that I did not do the math, but I think that the current differential is so large that it's hard not to notice if one just think about it. I'd like to start off and say that I'm exited for this game. I'm a big fan of 4X games and have been playing them for more than 15 years.
