I managed to fix it by deleting the drivers you mentioned, the damn thing is percistant though, it keeps wanting to re-install, even though it's not plugged in!

I've downloaded and installed the bete, apparently succesfully, however the game won't start. It doesn't give an error message or anything, it just doesn't work.
