Not to sound whiny, but why Trinity but not the actual 3 pieces of the game?

Thanks for the quick reply! Once it has finished its beta cycle, will it have all of your games and apps on it?
I had purchased my various sins games through Impulse, so I wanted to give this SDC a try. My games are not showing up on SDC and when I go into my account downloads on your site, it tells me I have to use GamestopNow to download them. I was lead to believe from earlier posts about SDC that I could get my downloads directly from SDC. Is this incorrect? Thanks in advance!
So is it safe for us to get rid of gamestop now?
Bombeross - You can download the latest full version directly from us and in the very near future will be able to get patches that way too.
That is great news. [e digicons]:D[/e] I just really wanted to use your service to begin with. I can accept that my other non-Stardock game purchases are lost to Gamestop, as long as I didn't lose Sins. (it was only a couple of games anyways) Please forgive my rants, but I rea
Quoting Bomberross, reply 37 It's not irony. It's the historical fact of the business practices of Gamestop. They are simply not to be trusted. And steam is more trustworthy? that's ironic.
Go take a look at what they do in their retail stores and make that statement. They pull some slimy things with new games (ie - they crack them open and remove inserts that they don't like etc et
Quoting Bomberross, reply 103 Now if I want to play/download GalCiv, GalCiv2, Demigod, or Sins I have to use Impulse, which was fine when Stardock owned it. However, Stardock doesn't own it any more. My games didn't transfer back to Stardock, which is my main complaint. Go to https://store.stardock.com , log-in, click "my account", click "view your product download" ... you will have a screen like

Frankly i can't understand the opposition to Impulse/Gamestop...the service and the range of games is way better than steam...it's plain ridiculous to be opposed to it because of Gamestop's history. ... the range of games is better on Impulse then Steam? Quote from Ashenkhar "It does to some extent, but I remember how Stardock's digital distribution service started. The thing is... Stardock Central *became* Impulse, so my GalCiv and GalCiv 2 copies got transferred to that service. I have a bias...I'm a big Bioware fanboy, so I can only hope that EA doesn't ruin them. [e digicons]:waaaa:[/e]
Great game! I still giggle over turning a frog or a zombie into your wife [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Ea does a little bit of support after shipping, while Lucasarts does none.
Be thankful that EA isn't as bad as Lucasarts! [e digicons]:erk:[/e]
After spending MANY hours, days, (and maybe years!) playing HOMM in its various incarnations, this is my opinion: Play either 3 or 5. They both have similar gameplay (in fact Ubisoft stated they wanted to be faithful to #3), the only real difference being that 5 is a resource hog. Further, 5 does have a better set of campaigns than 3. 1 & 2 are just previous versions of the exact same game going into 3. 4, in my opinion, was horrible. My 2 cents!<
For me, it's all about the preview factor. If a game has a demo available, I'll download it to try it out. If not, I'll find a "free" copy and try it out. If the game is good (IMHO), then I ALWAYS buy a copy. I want to support the things I feel are worthwhile, but please give me a demo. If the game sucks, then I don't feel bad about the copy, and toss it in the digital trash. My bottom line thinking, is that great games will attract gamers
