But the game is not 100% ready. I would remind you that highly respected studios try to work out at least 95% of the bugs BEFORE release. I could name a few titles which released 100% playable and enjoyable (Starcraft II for example). Play with the best or die like the rest no argue here!
Firstly lets ignore things like: AC:Unity's fiasco from hell GTAV launch issues with Rockstar social and non ASCII

That looks uttery terrifying..... If I saw that in MP I'd just say "Well should we just call it?.... gg"
Bit odd there's no official news of this here. But hunker down because GalCiv3 officially releases May 14th (at least according to their twitter account!) https://twitter.com/Stardock/status/590919011233353729 Considering this is normally the 'summer doldrums' in terms of game releases, there's just a ton of kick ass stuff being released within the next month. It's super exciting,
I do dearly miss OS/2 And BeOS.... And NEXT.... Man I really really really was striking out there on the OS market...
Super Secret Beta 4 Release Notes! Our previous announcements of corporate 'partnerships' in GalCiv3 were met with overwhelmingly positive support (or so we are told via emails being read aloud from our indentured servants) So we're excited to announce a ton more exciting features for GalCiv3 in Beta 4! No more Combat Viewer! It's
Here's the thing The OS knows what it's doing. We are no longer in the days of "WHAT you want MORE MEMORY! Go line up for a few lashes!" The application goes "I would like RAM" and the OS looks at what's available. Assuming you have a semi-decent system not made out from Kinder Suprises, Cracker Jack stickers, and mail in popsicle sticks, you're gonig to have gobs of memory available. The OS will say "well here have all you want!" If the application had to keep begging
If your e drives are disappearing that sounds a lot more like a hardware issue Are you running steam of an external drive or something?

I am SUPREMELY intrigued! Though I would say that at least in the 4X realm, AI War has done asymettrical empire building as well. I guess how does this compare/different/unrelated to AI War?
Well congrats to whoever won. It's a great game and you'll definitely enjoy it
I'd love Wasteland 2 for Steam as well. :) But congrats to whoever wins!
Are you running a 64-bit OS? What is the exact error youa re getting?
I've got your 'Diplomacy' right here. Just look carefully at this plasma cannon....

Games like Civ5 already can attempt to obliterate all your cores via DX11 pipeline optimzations http://slideplayer.us/slide/1609359/ Look at slide 16 to see 90% utilization of all cores of a 12 core system

OOOH betas within betas! :)
Bloom is now enabled by default
I think you need 'levels' of bloom. Something from "HDR Bloom" all the way up to "Star Trek Blinding Lens Flare"
Sort of dependson how they implement it all NOte that steam now allows you to 'disable' dlc within steam itself so even if there is no managment within the game itself, steam can 'in theory' allow you to turn on and off specific DLC if ou find it 'offensive' for some odd reason

Right now GalCiv3 is sitting pretty at 7th. Despite heavy competition from big sales for CS:GO/Witcher/Kalypso Congrats to the team on a successful beta launch. Looking forward to more beta builds to come!
Since you have a mobiiltiy card its likely the game is using your integrated Intel card Force the use of your Mobilty card via the Nvidia COntrol Panel
What is "Population Pressure" does that mean my population is too high or too low?
When you reload a game, all explorered stars show up as 'blue dots' rather than showing being explorered if they are in the fog of war. Planets around the stars that have been previously explorered show up correctly even when inside the fog of war. Within the session if your ship goes by a star it then shows up correctly for that session, but is then removed whn you reload a save game.
