Turns out it was the super race I was trying to use. Working just fine now.

I downloaded what was on Nexus, which I'm certain was the 8.0a. I have no desktop.ini file that I can find in my Designs folder. I will double check tiny maps, but those weren't working the last time I tried running it either, back on 7.5.

Can't tell if it's been addressed yet, but I'm having difficulty getting the game to get past the "building galaxy" screen. Currently running 2.8 opt-in, was previously running 2.7. Issues on both versions. I tried a clean install yesterday. Same thing, crashes to desktop.
