Performance issues in FE Beta Elemental Forums

So far, I liked what I saw of Fallen Enchantress. But it seems to still suffer of the same unexplicably low performance as War of Magic, meaning in my case below 10fps mid-game, and a lot of stutters when zooming. That kills the fun, and the rig I'm playing on should be more than capable of handling it smoothly. Am I the only one experiencing such issues? Turning off outlines makes things a little faster, and disabling pedestrians should improve a little further, but it's clea

Very similar to my recent upgrade (Phenom II 920, exact same RAM kit, MSI 790GX mobo, Radeon 4850). I'm very happy with it, really fast at everything and games run great (max settings). Well, besides Empire: TW, which runs almost great anyway. And should improve when it will finally support multicores. You have my approval :)

Downloadable collector goodies? in Demigod Demigod Forums

As far as I know all Demigod preorders were collector editions, even the digital downloads, and the extra goodies would have been made available as downloads like it happened for Sins. Any news on that? Is there an ETA, a link I'm not aware of...

Wait until it's patched and finished, or, as Dr.Gonzo said, it drops in price. I paid full price on preorder and haven't started playing seriously yet, waiting for parches. Grrrr. You'll have to cope with the fact it requires the steam crap, too.

I have the same problem with a Radeon HD 4850 (AA 4X), so it's not an nVidia-only driver problem. I don't recall having this problem with my old 7600 GT (AA 2X).

Maybe it's a problem with the ATI X??? series, i have the exact same problem on a laptop with a Mobility X700. (single-core centrino, 2 gb ram)

/signed, was very disoriented when i first tried the game, even if I loved supcom's zoom function. Now that I got used to it it's better, but edge scrolling is still a must.
