Unable to pick other races in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

Hi guys I hadn't played Gal2: ToA for a few months, but I decided to load it up via impulse, it did a couple of updates (first to ver2.0, then to 2.01) So i loaded it up fine, went to choose "new game" set the galaxy parameters up, then went to the races screen, but the only one I can now pick is Terran, every other race, even custom can not be chosen?? Have i done something wrong here? or am i missing something obvious lol Thanks<
