Okay, thanks. The problem of slow download is not with Stardock, I have to gnaw on my fingernails and search somewhere else. Got an update of the firmware of my router. ISP says "STEAM??? Err... Never heared!" Contacted STEAM support. Tried all suggestions in quick answer. Nope! In good old days I had an ISDN-connection which took really lots of time but was faster with Stardock-server as STEAM is now. <p
Wonderful! Thanks to STEAM I didn't even get Beta 6, 720 MB of 2,200 after three days. Now I start all over with measly 32.8 MB of 2,600. I like GalCiv, but with STEAM it's a pain in the ass! Oh, yes. I've a connection with 55.000 kBit/sec, not a 300-baud-accoustik coppler. Did I mention that I dearly love STEAM?
