Fixed for me!
Quoting dappermandan, reply 14 I'm having a starting population on homeworld of 10 billion, but with a pop cap of 5 billion... is this intended? This is fixed now.
Is it fixed for custom factions, that were built
I believe we're having the same issue. Trying to start a new game via Quick Start would crash to desktop. Same with starting a new game, as soon as I clicked Start it would crash to desktop. Upon further review.... As long as I do not try to play as or against the Torians or Arceans, the game starts. For what it's worth, I can copy the Torian civilization and use the copied civ without crashing.
You've really f***ed up removing items from the notification list. After removing an item, it takes several seconds to reload itself.
) If I delete a message from the notification list, the messages disappear, reappear, clear button is greyed out for a second and starts working again. Now instead of deleting dozens of notifications each turn piece by piece (i really hope you add a clear all button), I can now wait 3-4 seconds in between every step. That is annoying to say the least.
Annoying as fuck!
I don't understand how they haven't fixed it yet. It's not elusive, it happens every time. The fix seems relatively simple (they are simply neglecting to subtract the invader casualties). Perhaps they are just ignoring it since changes are coming (supposedly) to the invasion system. On a side note, is it just me or does it seem like defending a planet is damn near impossible. From your screen shot, how does the attacker win s
I submitted a bug report about this a month ago. The response, below, gives me the impression they aren't overly concerned with fixing it. Hello, I have forwarded your report to our Development Team for their review and recommendations. I cannot, however, provide a timeline for a response or resolution. You will be notified when one is available. We really do appreciate your feedback
From watching games "soak" it would seem that none of the AI scout ships move, at all, ever. I believe this is root cause of their very slow starts. I believe I heard/read that the AI does not send colony ships / constructors out unless it's already seen a planet / resources to colonize / mine. Therefore, it's limiting itself to whatever it's survey ship (or whatever the other initial starting ship is called) discovers. Edit: Nevermind, it would a
Pretty sure the issue is that the game is checking the wrong faction to ensure they have enough credits. I noticed this issue trading with the Drengin, who had 11 credits in their treasury. I could add up to 11 credits on my side of the trade without issue. 12 or more triggered 'I don't think your coffers can support what you're offering' .
Are you kidding? Patches? Patches? LOL they have to build DLC first, and retrofit GC II AI for import first before they release Patches! Who said anything about Patches?
LMAO - Reminds me of Allen Iverson's rant about practices.
This is the opposite though. All the numbers from the actual invasion seem ok to me. It makes sense that I could have invaded successfully and lost roughly half of my population. What doesn't make sense is that the population on the planet is so high. I invade with 3.5 and the end result is an additional 1.8, for a total of 4.9. I start with 3.5 and lose 1.8 They start with 6.1 and lose 4.7 The planet should be populated
The population of a planet after an invasion doesn't seem right to me. Maybe I'm missing something? I invade with 3.5 billion. The Thalan are defending with 6.1 billion. The victory screen says... Invader Casualties: 1.8 Defender Casualties: 4.7 Surviving Population: 1.4 I would assume the population should be 1.7 (3.5 - 1.8) of my people plus 1.4 (6.5 - 4.7) Thalans. Doing the math the planet population should 3.1, n
