Thank you, 1. lock dragging isn't checked 2. I haven't got a tabbed dock Of course I've checked all before I desperately filed my question. And another thing: deleting icons, they won't budge either if you want to lift them off the dock. Puzzles me, but I'm open for suggestions.
Okay, I've got objectdock plus but I can't move objects to a place on the dock where I rather would have them. Any sugestions?

Uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times by now. Even cleared the registry from any refferences to Stardock and/or Object dock. Suggestions anyone? S.
Thank you for your advice and all. Besides not being able to lift icons from the dock; I can't even shlepp them to a different place on the dock so as to cluster them. Neither the added separators. S.
I'm running the paid version. And from your description and picture; I guess it is a normal dock. Yes, I did try and toggle it on and of. If I right click on the dock I get a popupscreen in which lockdragging is not checked. Is that what you mean? Even removed the entire programme TWICE, killed ever
I really don't know. Where can I see that? I scrutinized the screens but can't find it. If I try and lift the docklets they raise a little but at the edge they "drop" back again. And dragging is a complete "No, No" Help is gratefully apprieciated. S.
Thank you, but I've tried that. No locking checked, for the rest I can add, but not drag to the desired place and "lifting" it out of the docket so it evaporates into a cloud is also not possible. S.
I've got this annoying problem not to be able to remove an icon, or reassign it to another place on the bar. Idea's anyone? S.
