How hard would it be to make an options choice of "Disable Stock Designs?" I know they have other priorities, but it seems like it should be a very easy tweak. I do respect that they went to the effort of creating all these designs, but, once you've figured out how to design ships, you can make ships that are much better designed for your style of play. I got it to work. It turns out that it no longer works after the last Windows 10 build, unless it is launched as an admin. My normal Windows profile is a standard user with another user as the local admin. I have to launch Steam as an admin and then start GC3. It then starts normally. <span sty

I'm having exactly the same problem. I played it over the weekend using 1.5 opt-in. My computer updated to the 1511 build of Windows 10. After that, it crashes every time on launch. It gets past the "loading" screen, but crashes before it gets to the main menu. The only thing that changed was the 1511 build of Windows 10. I have a Radeon HD 7950 Black Edition 3GB video card, 16GB RAM, 3770K i7 CPU, etc. Worked fine before. I tried the verifying
