JMBdev: Just to report that all the previous issues I've had are now sorted in the latest build. Only one minor issue remains, and that is task switching from the dock taskbar sort of half works in some cases. By that I mean that the application is select such that shortcut keys work (e.g. in Opera pressing crtl+tab displays the list of open tabs) and it is displayed as the current application when pressing alt+tab, but the main window is not brought to the front. Seems to happen both on XP

JMBdev: Re the "objectdock closes sometimes" problems, I've had it happen again today & there is no crash log, but it does seem to be triggered by leaving the machine for a while & the screensaver activating if that is any help.

Only issues I have remaining are the occasional closing as reported by rustysam (although it may be sorted via the latest build as it hasn't happened yet) on XP - not noticed it the same on Vista and some tray icons not working correctly on XP at least. Primary culprits are Windows Live Messenger - can't open it at all, and Outlook 2007 (which is set to minimize to tray) which sometimes works Ok but mostly not, although the new mail envelope does open it. JMBdev: Right, done some more testing. I'm not sure that XP is so much of an issue now - maybe it was an earlier build as it seemed fine all afternoon. As to Vista, I've managed to get a reproducible scenario where the cursor lag/stutter is in effect: Set OD to Reserve edge of screen & Always on top (in fact just doing that causes some lag) Start Internet Explorer and then immediately launch Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc. If you move the mouse at all, then it lags all over

JMBdev: Tried on Windows XP both with and without the tray and can't say that there is much to choose between them, although, for me at least, the effect is not as noticable on XP as it is on Vista. I'll try it on Vista later when I get home from work.

With regard to the freezing, I've found that having "Reserve edge of screen" turned on causes far more freezing/stuttering that with it off. I've also observed the Start button being constantly redrawn during the stuttering. OD is configured with a normal dock on the bottom (showing some shortcuts & running tasks) and a tabbed dock on the top edge set to auto hide. "Reserve edge of screen" was set for the bottom dock. I've got similar issues, and not just with IE not showing up. My systray doesn't appear to work at all under Vista either. As things stand at the moment, ObjectDock on Vista is unusable for me as a startbar replacement. Chris
