Luckily I had a extra hard drive in my computer, that I installed it to. I have to admit as stable as it is I am thinking about installing it on my laptop & overwriting Vista.

I installed the beta today of Windows 7 and deskscapes won't work. I am so unhappy, I really love deskscapes and windows 7. I guess I will just have to wait (and waiting is not one of my strong points).
Not to piss is anyone's wheaties but, as a newbie myself it can be confusing. Some downloads go right where thy should and then some you download and have to know where to put them. That was the confusion for me. With some of the snarky remarks I have seen posted from some holier than thou people, just remember this we were all new at one time or another. Flame away if you must.
I have a valid desktop ultimate registration, why is it asking me to register and how do I?
I disagree. Apple has the best dock. As far as the subject goes I think I will offer these two words: open source.
Since you firmly believe this, I sugest you get to spending all your time writing it and giving it away for free, then people would have no reason to bitch. Have at it buddy.
After you ran the setup, did you go into the Programs -> Stardock -> MyColors folder and run the application from there?
It does not show up in the my colors program, nor is it anywhere in C:\Program Files\Stardock\MyColors I want to buy some themes, but I wanted to install this one to see the ease of doing it, I guess I have my answer. I also have my answer on how good tech support is here. So much for buying any my colors themes.
What happens if you run setup again?
So is this going to be addresed?
The the same thing. I have tried 5 times, have even rebooted the computer to no avail. I have windows Vista 32bit Premium, dual processor with 2 gigabytes of ram and 512 graphics card, if that helps any.
I can not get this to install. When it starts to install it asks me if I want to uninstall then takes away my cureent wall paper and nothing else happens.
I guess the title says it all. ;) What a nice surprise when I went to do updates today.
When I went to restore the original Icons for Vista it did something to my Administrator permissions and I could not do anything! Nor could I get to my control panel or run any .exe file. I had got to the point I was going to reininstall Windows from the partitioned drive and would not even let me do that! Needless to say I almost threw the computer out the window. But cooler heads prevailed and I had a idea, (BTW it would not let me run Icon Packager
Thanks for your rsponse. I just purchased Object desktop, and after playing with it I figured it out. Being new to your programs I was confused, but I really do appreciate your quick response. Looking forward to buying more products from Stardock!
Is this a free program or does it cost? I down loaded it and looked at it it looks great but I can't find where to buy it, yet there is a place to add a registrain key into it. Or am I just stupid? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
