alright I got it to work locally, now how do I give a friend of mine the map I made so we can play on it together over the online?
Daggaroth
All of the ones I made myself. I did not know that it made a difference though
So it has been awhile but I just recently purchased rebellion and am having a grand ol time playing it!, I got it through steam and it is not detecting any of my previously saved maps in the C:\Users\ \Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\ GalaxyForge folder so my question is what is the process of putting new custom made maps in so I can play them in game? also is the same process all that is needed to get a frie
I like the titans ability to engage multiple ships at once, it makes it feel more real especially coming from a ship that size. anyway I have been away for awhile and let the conversation die out, I would still very much like to get some of these little things included in the changes of rebellion, hopefully the developers are good at reading forum posts :-)
@Haree78 to each his own I guess. I personally could do without the hands or any other graphic effect besides lasers and various other firepower. possibly a "realism" mode that stripped the effects to just combat related ( explosions, debris, fighters moving around, etc) that could be turned on and off with a checkbox.
Haree, great list. I THINK you can fix the navigation by holding down shift when setting their travel path and right clicking on each planet you want them to travel to. so you can have them move threw the phaselanes in the way you want them to. could be wrong though. I also highly agree with the planet diversity thing. I think moons would be awesome orbiting a planet, so it would be like having a planet and a mini planet in the s
I think the fleet formation thing would be really helpful
Changed... thanks for pointing that out
Let me start this post off by saying I have been a long time fan of the sins of a solar empire series, it is one of the few that have kept my interest in the long term and I hope to see it grow and prosper for many years to come with fresh content from the developers and the community alike!. with the addition of Rebellion, a full sized expansion to the sins franchise, I would like to ask the developers to include a few small things that are not
ive been out of the loop for the last few months , ( i took a break from RTS's including Sins) and just got back into it, and wanted to play one of my favorate self made maps and I have it setup so that player0 has control of specfic planets ( as does player1 and 2) but I dont startout at the spot where I want to now. I checked the galaxyforge3 and the random positions is set at false. and im not sure what im doing wrong now. did they change anything having to do with
worked perfectly. did a find replace player0 to player3, then Player2 to player0, then Player3 to player2 and everything worked out exactly what I wanted it to without the half hour of clicking =). thanks
thanks. now heres another question... is there anyway to mass change the owner player status from Player2 to Player0 for a large group of planets or does it HAVE to be one at a time?
and so you just select the player number you want to be in? or just select 1 player to be the human player?
hey guys, I was just wondering if there was a way to set it so that in a single player game, you could take the same player slot ( as in Player0,Player1,Player2 in the galaxy forge) I am playing around with the galaxy forge right now and I have it as a 3 player map , with 2 players supposed to be the computer, playing offense. and the 1 player as defense in the defensively supperior position, and i had to join the game half dozon times
just took a look at your profile, could not find it. could you post a download link perhaps?
Check these out- all Matrix dreams hope these are the ones you want
Digital Matrix (trig.) is similar, im hoping just for more activity on the screen then just that one line.
and I just checked out that dream you posted, and that similar to what I am thinking of , but more then just that 1 line. all over the screen , various things moving around, maybe a combonation of that dream you posted, and the video of the minority report UI I posted
heres some pictures of the things I was thinking about from the various movies I mentioned Minority Report: pictures: http://thm-a01.yimg.com/image/efcdd8a5529e5eb4 http://thm-a03.yimg.com/image/08c46987dbaf78e8 http://thm-a03.yimg.com/image/3b2bad2512f04208 http://thm-a01.yimg.com/image/ad038ecde7ddd414 http://thm-a04.yimg.com/image/cf106f0de09f97a2 Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwVBzx0LMNQ &n
Hey guys, I had a dream Idea but I have no skill whatsoever when it comes to design, ( im a idea guy) anyway, I dont know how many of you have seen movies like the Matrix, or Minority Report, or District 9 but they have 3D computers that people manipulate, and there are these little holographic looking icons that that get moved around or that move around and appear and disapear, and I thought this would be a fantastic dream type wallpaper,
is there a way to change it so you can have 2 or 3 starbases in a system?
hello again, i am a newer member to this community, i was told by someone that the answer too another one of my questions earlier was to edit the Galaxy.Manifest and add the map type there.. but i am not sure how i edit manifests. would someone give me a few pointers to get me started? thanks
i was able to save them . i just cant see them in game.
Hello, i am somewhat new to the sins community. but i am already in love with the game.. i recently bought the entrenchement expansion and got the galaxy forge tool from the website as well. i created my own map but i cannot find where to put it in my folder. it wont show up in my maps list when i put it in the normal folder where the rest of the maps are. i figured either this is due to the expansion, or i need to put it somewhere else. any he
