Sins no longer enjoyable in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

My enjoyment of this game is ruined. After the last update the AI titan seems indestructible in difficult level. Against eight battleships and a fully upgraded star base while the shields went down it never got below 92% damage, consequently it then went on to wipe everything out at a time when i was in what should have been an invincible position. AM I MISSING SOMETHING? I enjoy the game but no longer want to play as it is too easy in normal level and seemingly impossible at any higher level

I find it too easy on normal setting and did like to play on the next level up, but since recent upgrades any level other than normal seems impossible and this has ruined my enjoyment of the game.
