My first impressions were graphics were okay, and I wasn't necessarly excited by the graphics. But then I thought about it some, and that this game looks like a canvas picture come to life. Each scene depicts a nice image that people would have on their wall. I do not think these graphics need an overhaul. I grew to appreciate these graphics and now enjoy playing with these graphics. In part, the original post has a good point and selling this game on graphics will not b

I have noticed a headless / undergarments bug on the custom sovereigns. I have been able to reproduce this effect on my computer, I hope others would check to see if it something with my rig (Alienware M14 Laptop, geForce 555m vid card, win 7 64bit). Here is the debug.err file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/75549875/debug.err First ha

I have found 3 level 1 heroes (playing a Tarth) with one of my gameplay and I had only 3 other factions. One faction already had hero and so there were at least 4 of the humans factions. So it might be bad luck on your generation of the map. Sorry no pics to show this off (or a save game), if it happens again where I can prove it I will post a pic for you all.

soil sounds good to me as well, but "topsoil" maybe a better choice instead. This is where most crops can be planted, without the topsoil very little life can grow. Soil itself refers to any number levels in the earths crust. The top-soil presents the fertile land.

I agree about a name change to the food/ grain system. "Fertility" works fine in my book. It allows one to possibly imagine alternate crops to feed the populous. But leaving it the same to avoid this fertility confusion may be best.

One can still do the infinite movement bug. If you click on a square next to you and you begin to move, continue clicking with the mouse button and you will eventrually instantly warp to the new tile. The fog of war doesn't update, but you can navigate the unexplored region. The region will show up once you do a legitimate move. (Note: I was playing Tarth when this occured)

If you right-click to move to an adjacent square, and right-click again onto the target square just before your unit moves to that square, it will warp the unit to the square and not deduct any move points. It doesn't update the map when you do this process as you can see with the picture below. If you are having trouble reproducing the result just right-click repeatedly onto the target square. <img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/75549875/FallenEnchantress

Depending on how it is calculated this could be a better exploit than you originally posted. For example, take a hero that costs 100 gildar to recruit. With cruel it now would cost you 150 gildar, but with natural leader it now costs you half of this new amount, or 75 gildar. It is not clear if they mean 50% more of the base cost and 50% less of the base cost. If it is not the base costs that they consider, then the exploit gives you, +1 attack with a -25% off the cost of recr

There should be a way to distinguish between the factions of the same type. I like the idea of creating a civil war senario, but the faction power box would be all but useless. I recommend adding the sovereign name to distinguish between the factions. Another option is to allow the player to write their own faction names in game for each of the players.

This bug is still present with [.91]. Another related bug occurs when movement is queued to attack say a bandit at a camp, but the bandit attacks first, then army moves onto bandit camp without collecting good. Have to leave and comeback to get the goodies. Another time this co-location occured is when I moved onto an empty bear camp, but a Bear Army spawns just as I arrived. No battle and No goodie pick-up. Each time this occurs is when the movement was

I agree that the flat rate fleet costs are a bit much, especially when you lose a sizable chunk of your fleet. But I don't think it should be removed, instead I would prefer a small bonus in the speed of ship building (Like a 1-2% per research level).

A large problem with the education system is the implementation of new educational research. We have learned a lot in the last few years when it comes to educational psychology. How people learn and what environments induce the best learning. But the problem with the new research is that on paper and in small one day sessions of testing, it looks great, but in practice it was a horrible idea and produces poor students in the long run. Many students were forced int

First of all the game is great, but I noticed this little bug. The plasma storm is supposed to keep your fighter and bomber ships grounded, but if you already have your fighter or bombers launched before you phase jump to the plasma storm, they will automatically launch at the plasma storm. Furthermore, they will continue to repair and launch ships to the squadrons as long as a squadron is still flying in the plasma storm. Everything else about the plasma storms appea
