I want to thank you for finding that out for me. It might be a bit late, but late is better than never. Thank you

In "...\Game\MapDefs.xml" there's a pair of lines for each map size and MaxCameraZoom>. It's an inelegand fix for you, but I'm not seeing a way to scale the camera zoom through the size of the UI. While this would seem to be an oversight, it actually makes sense that they wouldn't (or couldn't) do this. The map and environment is modeled with all its constraints - including the bounds of the camera. The UI is just an overlay that goes on the camera.
So i'm trying to give a custom race a +10% to PopulationCap, but I keep getting the same 5/5 pop on my homeworld. I figured it was as simple as it not showing the 0.5 pop so I cranked it up to 500%. No Joy. What gives?
As an experienced user of the animation engine, I conclude there is no relationship between the rotation and movement frequencies. There is also no control of the phase of either action, so that kind of synchronization is not available either. [e digicons]:([/e]
Oversight much? I guess it was meant for animating parts on a ship, not the whole ship :(
I'm trying to get a ship to move right to left and rotate 15 degrees as if it was banking. The problem I run into is that the movement isn't synchronizing with the rotation. Anyone got this?
A compromise might be to station a garrison at the cost of PopCap
Is there a way to grant vision within borders/influence?
You might need to add the drone's blueprint to your faction files.
There is a mod for this on Steam. Not sure how well it works or if it has been updated for the latest version of GalCiv3, but it's there to at least use as a template for how to do this.
I was playing around with the idea of another range increase module. Expensive, but unlimited starbase range. Would be supremely OP if more than one was allowed though. UnlimitedStarbaseRange Starbase Omniscience ChaoticParticleAbsorptionSystemModule_ShortDec</ShortDescr
Is there a way to make a module limited to one per faction, akin to the different capital types? I've tried true and got the standard not allowed message.
new thought that as far as i can see hasn't been explored. instead of thinking in terms of numbers of colonies, what about a per-colony calculation based on distance from the capital?
