Ignoring the trolling and the responses.... I agree with the OP; I played one game, then set it aside due to lack of combat screens. When I have different civilizations on three borders, and a dozen foreign ships within my realm; where do I organize my defenses? Who attacked me and deserves a major a## whipping? This also delays me purchasing another copy for my son, who also sees no reason for playing yet without combat information and organizational
