Thanks so much! The running of the font setup file and verification I had tried and didn't fix it. However, deleting the K2 files you mentioned I hadn't tried. Deleting those, then running the game forced it to recreate them, and they work! Now to try the rest of the game!
So I just bought GC3 on steam today, installed, and quickly realized a major issue. I can't see the text in the buttons on the UI! Text everywhere else seems fine. Makes i very hard to play. Updated my video card driver that was only a few months old to the latest from NVIDA. Reverified in steam. Uninstalled, rebooted, then reinstalled to a different drive (First and SSD, then an HDD). Looked on the forums and found the text installer in the GC3 directory, ran that, no help.
