1. AI, period. The current AI is helpless. It builds ships and doesn't group them into fleets, it fills planets seemingly at random with improvements. It gives the players a free pass for the first 50 or so turns of the game; there is never any reason to do anything but hammer colony techs. If you build a unique player structure like Hyperion Logistic/Hyperion Shrinker/Tech Capital/Manufacturing Capital/Gaea Vortex etc., on a world, and then lose that world, you can build the same structure on another world. Playing any size map I can have 10x the production of any of the AI's set on godly by turn 30. Rushing the malevolent +10 production ideology gives a massive boost. This is OP and way better for getting techs fast than the relevant Benevolent path, since that path only gives fairly meager flat Research point bonuses early. Even the 200% Benevolent research structure is only a 2nd tech capital when you finally do get it, and itself is completely overshadowed by the Malevo

A few things: Will ship exp will be included in the finished version and work similarly to how it did in gc2? For whatever reason I find the game much more fun to play when my ships can level up. At the moment I don't find the beta very much fun, I think if you included ship exp in the next patch I would play it more. I hope you're not planning on putting it off into DLC or something, at that point I doubt I'd bother. It would also
