I am playing with the grm mod and i have modded the ship parts and mission rewards as well as the globaldefs file to add more points Whether it's a custom race or stock, it's not their.... Also, Because neither the synthetic or the silicone races have access to XenoBiology Means that Xylology mission from the shipyards can't be used for the resource gather mission

My machine empire can colonize and terraform. You might need to validate your files. So you can do extreme planets? I can Terra-form and colonize planets that require atmosphere cleansing but not extreme planets, even though I can research aquatic and frozen, not barren, it's not there. Even after I research, say aquatic, I still can't colonize it, because I don't have access to the tech, I can't trade for it either. I did validate, I either get one file, th
what about a fix for regular extreme planets for superior lifeforms aka synthetic, it works for everyone else though, or maybe it's just me? it's still there for carbon and aquatic and now silicon, but still not the machines.... :(

I got it, thanks to you two, it worked, and it's awesome, the only snag I ran into is that it breaks the admin requirements for colony, survey etc... and ideas why that is, I just added more sensor power and brought down some mass cost, I couldn't find anything about the admin costs in there, or at least that I understood. Is there a file association?
The only dlc I don't have is the heroes of the star controll, Mech parts, altarian prophecy, rise of the terrans, revenge of the snathi, The file that I renamed was from the C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\data\Game ShipComponentDefs.xml I did rename the xml, i added _sensorpowerto the end of the defs I was not adding any components, I was modifying SensorPower
I am trying to modify the sensor mass/sensor power in the ship components def xml file in the base game, but every time I tried to mod it, the game would crash, I did mod the star-base file, but all that did was seem to duplicate the options for star-base modules, which didn't crash the game, but otherwise didn't really work. I am using the latest hotfix, and the GRM mod. also, why is the most modded credits you can have 2147483?
Keep in mind I am playing as synthetic so that might effect some of these... If you trade for a tech effect like resistance It doesn't apply, also why does it list natural growth on the resistance pop up?
