I wouldn't actually download this, because if it was meant to be in the game it would be. I'm not much of a "mod" player but I do appreciate the work that wannabes and n00bs put together. I was just pointing out an observation that became immediately obvious. A planet with 10K population seems like it would fluctuate your economy up to ten times.

I can see imbalancing with this mod, especially whoever colonizes the Urban zone. Nice mod though, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Kruler; The data in your chart is all averaged though (in otherwords useless for anyone reading it) so I think people should use the more comprehensive statistics found here: http://roe.totalgamingnetwork.com/wiki/index.php/Category:Sins_of_a_Solar_Empire%2C_Ships Thanks anyway!
lol @ n00b
innociv must be the village idiot. "_______ sucks" no that's just you kiddo. Don't colonize new planets? Stall your economy... right. Because 50000 credits does a lot of good with under 100 crystal and metal... Your thread reeks of disdain. Learn how to play instead of getting raged and telling people that everything sucks.
Let's take for example, I have 5000 credits to purchase crystal with. I purchase the maximum of 5-6 hundred units of crystal right away while its cheap. I then take 66%, or 4 hundred crystal and sell it for the maximum. If the market is at 7.0, my ratio is set to 14.0, the maximum (200%). The market price would now be 10.5? If I have 3 ice planets, I likely have a stranglehold on the crystal production. I could constantly flood the market with outrageous priced crystal and effectively
"And if this IS how it currently works, it desperately needs to be fixed. Someone could offer crystal for an arbitrarily high price - say 10,000,000 creds - and thus prevent anyone from ever buying it again!
Yeah, if that's the way the market operates, it seems very exploitable. I'll have to try that out later to confirm.
