Wait, so all those maps with multiple continents are completely pointless at this stage? >:|
If I play on a map with three large continents separated by ocean, will I be able to travel between the continents? I heard something about lack of boat/ship functionality and was looking for the full story. Thanks.
I just had to post to say this mod definitely deserves the sticky. I don't know if I would have found it otherwise, and it's an excellent helper worth downloading!
No, I think that was Jon Voight.
I got the spell of making pretty early in the game, and all my heroes require 100 intelligence to use the spell...... except the sovereign, who can cast it with only 30-some intelligence. Is this intentional? :( I had to reload to an earlier save and hold off on not casting it so I could continue playing.
No save for you! *crash*

These CRASHES are making me thirsty. These crashes. Are making ME thirsty!
Wow, we got a little off topic. :) So the options are... 1) have female children with appropriate traits 2) upgrade the shard crystal shrines 3) build an "essence temple" when it becomes available. Thanks.
I need more mana generated per turn so I can have some strategic effects and other expensive things. I took over two mana crystals, which now gives me a surplus of +2 mana per turn. Besides dispelling my current strategic effects, what research or buildings will give me more mana generated per turn? Thanks!
I pirate HoI2 when I first heard about it, and I loved it so much I bought HoI3 when it came out. I have never, ever downloaded such a buggy piece of software that I can remember. It never crashed, but there were just so many bugs it was unreal. The entire ocean was a typhoon with 100% wind and 100% rain, making naval battles impossible and causing submarines to be the main naval ship of choice, for example. I am really unhappy with Paradox, but I like HoI3 now that a l
What about a different approximation: Low: 5 Medium: 5*3 High: 5*3*3 Advanced: 5*3*3*3? Or 5*30, perhaps
Why don't you try Windows 2003? It's the same thing as Windows 2000, but from the XP family. It's made for servers, so you just have to install a video driver and manually enable sound the first time you use it, but it's essentially the same idea as 2000.
I'm looking for a mod that slows down gameplay considerably and attempts to balance the game further. I'd like a mod that is more or less complete and ready to be played and only has miscellaneous tweaking in the future. Which mod should I use? Thanks :)
Thanks for the tips. Anybody else know anything more? :)
His mod was on the WinCustomize mod section. Recently, that mod has been taken off of WinCustomize for some unknown reason. The author's name is "QuantumSawdust", and I can't find any posts containing that or epic immersion. :( I was hoping somebody around here might have the story or have seen an update somewhere.
What ever happened to Epic Immersion 0.5? I can't find any updates for it, and I thought it was a GREAT mod. I've taken over half my solar system on a five-star, ten-player game, and I'm still going. Anyone have any updates? Thanks!
