I have had this problem with my friends when ever we play multiplayer. Any time a person plays a race that shares a ship style with someone else they have each others ship in their ship list, and if one of those people is the host the other can not obsolete any of the ships in the list. I have had this bug for awhile any work around for it?
After trouble shooting with my friend tonight I found it is happening only if we use the same ship style (both of us are using human for our Custom Races). If we use different ship styles then everything is fine. This makes me think this is a bug and the game is sharing files it is not supposed to share and won't let a file in use by something else be deleted or modified. So is sharing User made ship list without being able to obsolete or delete any of them a Bug? That is what is happening to me in multiplayer.
After a few games of multiplayer I have grown tired of sifting through a huge list of custom ships. Is a shared ship list between me and my friend a feature or a Bug? We are unable to delete or obsolete ship designs in multiplayer, and after 4 hours in we have made a lot of ships between the both of us. Is this a bug or a terrible feature? I dread the game when we start playing with 4 of us.
